‍You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Based in Britain, working from home as part of a successful team of NPD & Technical personnel
• Reporting to the Technical and NPD Manager who is based in Dublin
• Communicating and collaborating with suppliers around GB and Europe
• Helping to maintain the Technical, Quality, BRC, Complaints & NPD documentation and systems in the business
• Communicating with Retail & Foodservice customers’ Technical & Npd departments
• Coordinating projects and executing product evaluations across a variety of food categories
• From time-to-time visiting suppliers
• Supporting events in conjunction with the Sales team including customer presentations & events.

What's required?

• Third level degree in Food Science or related discipline
• Minimum 7 years food industry experience
• BRC/IFS experience.
• Strong organization and team skills. Able to manage several projects at once.
• Good communicator and positive attitude
• Flexible and ambitious with a“can-do” attitude
• Understands how production plants think– experience in dealing with QA & NPD in factories
• Flexible and able to travel from time to time to visit suppliers’ factories abroad or to sales presentations or commercial events
• IT literate
