This Technical and Quality Coordinator role offers the chance to join a collaborative team with excellent learning and development opportunities, genuine room for progression, and the support of a well-respected brand name.

You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Managing technical queries from customers and internal teams
  • Completing customer questionnaires and supplying BRCGS-related documents
  • Monitoring supplier approval status, including reviewing BRC certifications and product specifications, and liaising directly with suppliers to maintain up-to-date documentation
  • Overseeing product sample management, ensuring all samples are logged, stored, and tracked correctly
  • Downloading and storing supplier temperature data logger readouts
  • Managing the external laboratory testing schedule, including logging and collecting samples, reviewing results, and ensuring compliance with analysis schedules
  • Conducting monthly quality checks using set QAS criteria
  • Monitoring supplier loading reports and ensuring Certificates of Analysis are received according to schedule
  • Supporting the management of Erudus and Brandbank systems
  • Carrying out monthly horizon scanning and TACCP/VACCP monitoring
  • Assisting in reviewing specifications and supporting six-monthly one-page specification reviews

What’s required?

Essential:

  • Previous experience in a technical or food safety-related role
  • Degree-level qualification in food safety, food science, or related discipline
  • Knowledge of audit processes, HACCP, and BRCGS compliance
  • Strong IT proficiency, particularly Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Good numeracy skills for data tracking and reporting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with various stakeholders
  • Full driving licence and access to own vehicle
