Are you passionate about driving supplier performance and ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance?

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Supplier Assurance Manager to take ownership of supplier quality across a large and complex manufacturing operation. You'll play a key role in managing supplier relationships, developing assurance processes, and supporting continuous improvement across raw materials, packaging, and indirect supply.

The role is both technically engaging and strategically important, offering the chance to work closely with cross-functional teams including technical, procurement, and manufacturing. You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Supports end-to-end management of quality processes related to raw materials (RM), packaging, technical, and indirect components within the defined scope.
  • Maintains specifications, technical documentation, and guidelines for raw materials, packaging, and indirect items.
  • Manages minimum control plans (testing plans) for raw materials, packaging, technical, and indirect items.
  • Ensures testing is conducted at the defined frequency and that corrective action plans are implemented with suppliers as needed.
  • Qualifies suppliers and conducts evaluations of supplier quality.
  • Works in collaboration with logistics and co-packing functions to qualify logistics providers and co-packers.
  • Maintains and updates the Approved Supplier Vendor List.
  • Oversees quality and food safety issues across the value chain relating to raw materials, packaging, and indirect components.
  • Ensures that non-conformities arising from raw materials, packaging, technical, or indirect inputs at production sites are captured and addressed through improvement actions (e.g., updated control plans, supplier engagement).
  • Leads specific projects aimed at improving raw material and packaging quality in collaboration with suppliers.
  • Analyses assigned KPIs and ensures action plans are in place and followed through.
  • Reviews contracts to ensure completeness with respect to food safety and quality aspects.

  • Lead Auditor
  • HACCP Level 3
  • Food Safety Level 3


Experience

  • Experience in supplier assurance within an FMCG organisation
