Are you a hands-on Process Development professional with experience in chilled food manufacturing and a passion for taking products from concept through to launch?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced development team working across innovative chilled and plant-based products. Based in Buckinghamshire, this role would suit someone with at least 1 year of industry experience who enjoys factory trials, process validation, and cross-functional project work. You’ll gain full concept-to-launch exposure while working closely with chefs, suppliers, engineering, and commercial teams to deliver exciting new products into the market.

You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Leading the technical delivery of assigned development projects from concept through to launch
• Planning, running, and reviewing factory trials across multiple production scales
• Collating trial data, product samples, observations, and project feedback
• Supporting recipe development and process optimisation alongside development chefs
• Managing technical checklists, trial protocols, and project documentation
• Supporting recipe costing and nutritional analysis activity
• Working closely with suppliers to source ingredients and review samples
• Collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, technical, operations, and commercial teams
• Supporting packaging and process solutions to overcome technical challenges
• Presenting samples and development updates to internal stakeholders and customers where required
• Maintaining accurate specifications, records, and project trackers
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and identifying better ways of working

What’s required?

• Minimum 1 year experience within food manufacturing or a similar development role
• Strong interest in process development and concept-to-launch activity
• Interest or experience within chilled and plant-based categories would be advantageous
• Strong organisational and project management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects within a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Confident working cross-functionally with internal teams and suppliers
• IT literate with strong attention to detail
• Full UK driving licence
• Food Science, Food Technology, Culinary, or related qualification would be beneficial
