This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and commercially minded product developer to work on added-value products for leading retail customers. You’ll be at the centre of innovation — collaborating with cross-functional teams, influencing strategy, and ensuring every new product delivers exceptional quality, taste, and value.

You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Managing all NPD and EPD projects from concept through to launch, ensuring alignment with customer and consumer expectations.
• Leading customer presentations and maintaining strong external relationships throughout the development process.
• Delivering commercially viable, technically sound, and operationally feasible products within agreed timelines.
• Collaborating closely with Technical, Category, Commercial, and Operations teams to ensure product success at every stage.
• Driving a continuous improvement culture through an EPD pipeline focused on quality enhancement, packaging innovation, and process efficiency.
• Managing and developing direct reports, providing clarity, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
• Staying ahead of food trends and competitor activity to support the creation of a forward-thinking innovation pipeline.

What’s Required?

• Proven experience managing NPD projects from concept to launch within food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of the added-value or protein industry and retail customer requirements.
• Excellent project management, organisational, and communication skills.
• Creative flair and a genuine passion for food, flavour, and innovation.
• Confident presenting ideas to customers and engaging cross-functional teams.
• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in Food Science, Technology, or related field.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
