Are you an experienced procurement professional ready to lead at a senior level?

As Head of Procurement, you’ll take on a strategic role at the heart of a well-established business, joining the senior management team and playing a key part in its continued growth and success. You’ll work closely with global suppliers to source products that meet exacting specifications, ensuring the best possible balance of price, lead time, and quality.

With a strong background in buying and project management, you’ll bring sharp commercial insight and the ability to drive value across procurement activities. You’ll also lead and develop a high-performing team, so proven people management experience is essential.

You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Source products or services that meet specified requirements, ensuring the optimal balance of cost, lead time, and quality.
  • Apply negotiation skills to secure favourable pricing, payment terms, and value-added agreements.
  • Operate in line with internal ethical sourcing and compliance standards.
  • Support quality assurance and logistics functions, including import processes and coordination with internal teams to meet delivery schedules.
  • Manage tender submissions, providing accurate pricing and data to relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Raise and process purchase orders and maintain associated administrative records through internal systems.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation in line with organisational protocols.
  • Collaborate with planning and operations teams to achieve delivery, availability, and stock objectives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers on an ongoing basis.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of stakeholder needs, brand values, and operational expectations.

What's required?

  • Tenacious with a strong determination to succeed
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of international shipping, duties, and delivery processes would be beneficial
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Strong IT skills and equally confident with spreadsheets
  • A number of years’ experience in product buying.
  • French or Spanish is beneficial but not a requirement
