Are you a hands-on food graduate looking for an opportunity to work on exciting foodservice projects from concept through to launch?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing R&D team where you’ll gain full exposure across the NPD process, supporting kitchen development, pilot plant trials, and launch activity for a key foodservice account. Working closely with the wider development team, you’ll play a hands-on role bringing new concepts to life within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
You will be responsible for, but not limited to:
• Supporting the development of new and existing products in line with customer briefs and business objectives
• Assisting with kitchen development, concept work, and lab application activity
• Working hands-on within the pilot plant to support trials, validations, and launch preparation
• Supporting product quality improvement initiatives across the development team
• Preparing samples and supporting customer presentations where required
• Maintaining accurate trial records, specifications, and development documentation
• Collaborating with technical, operations, and commercial teams throughout projects
• Supporting projects through the full concept-to-launch process
• Travelling to customer sites within the UK and EU where required
What’s required?
• Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline
• Strong interest in food development and innovation
• Hands-on approach with willingness to work in kitchen and pilot plant environments
• Strong communication and team-working skills
• Self-motivated mindset with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to travel when required
