You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• To ensure, through a competent and trained QA team, that all factory technical standards conform to procedures, HACCP requirements, legality and customer expectations.
• To develop systems of monitoring and continuous improvement to drive standards, ensure food safety and to develop a culture of right first time.
• To work alongside the operations team to reduce customer complaints, incidents of non-conformances and potential risks to food safety and quality.
• Management of Internal audits systems and Customer audits
• Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

What's required?

• At least 2 years relevant experience of manufacturing/production within the food industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to prioritise and make sound judgements under pressure
• Resilient
• Ability to build relationships and effectively influence at all levels, both internally and externally
• Technical Qualification (degree/HNC)
• HACCP – Level 3 desirable
